I don’t Know How It Happened

Let me take you to the dystopian city named No man’s Land, which is full of life with people with hope and woods with perennial spring and the life singing the rhymes of nature. One spring morning, two brothers John 18 and Jon 12 are on the roads for the morning run. It’s their daily activity which they indulge in to keep themselves fit and to train themselves to be world class sprinters. Run! that’s what they dream and that’s what they live for. While john was telling his brother about the politics involved in sports, he found himself numb in the cold weather and sooner he was on floor. He was numb and cold when he saw snow on the road getting melted with blood oozing from his and his brother’s bodies. All he could he see were the tires and he started trying to lift his head to know what exactly happened.

Eve, a beautiful blonde got up nude from bed and started admiring her curvaceous body and soon she found herself on bed and unable to resist her boyfriend with Olympian body. After an hour of battle with his knives and swords, he went to Eve to assure her that everything is fine. But before he could open her mouth, his nurse started screaming that the younger one, Jon is dead.

John got up from his bed with the screams of his brother :”John, run! Run John run! Faster.” He felt traumatic inside and started feeling acute pain in the veins of his brain and he started puking blood and soon he became unconscious. His dad came to his bed with the prayer beads and has put it in his hands and started pleading god to save his only left out son. Two days later, John was discharged from the hospital and was taken home. After supper, he went to his brother’s cup board and broke into tears on the sight of the gift, which Jon bought to gift it to him on his birthday. He put on the jacket which his Jon bought for him and sank into his bed.

John got up from his bed , with father wishing him his 21^st birthday. He could not even reckon how years passed without his brother. To him, it was happened just yesterday , everyday his brother wakes him up and cheers him to run and run faster. He is a national level athlete now. In the aftermath, he has a rollercoaster ride of life on the rough sea of unfortunate events through which he tried to survive like Sindbad,The sailor.

Even after three years, he could not accept his brother’s death, when ever, his brother’s words echoes in his ears, he has black out puking blood. Inorder to keep this disorder under control, he went to Dr.Evangeline, a beautiful 28 year old psychiatrist. He used to visit her often and discuss his sports tours, his personal experiences and state of mind with her. Soon they were in relationship with each other and she has become the manager of his tours. He underwent a rigorous training for the Olympics 400 mteres dash. He prepared himself mentally to overcome all the hindrances to win the race.

The gun was fired and the runners were racing like hungry lions.John is in the lead and he is just 100 metres away from his destiny where he has a blackout in which his brother was weeping near his dead body and screaming in his ears to get up and run. He tried to hold his brother , but he could not. No one was able to hear him or see him. Then the doctor came to his body with eve .He was astonished at the sight of her, as she was his wife and personal doctor.

Eve runs back to her car on the sight of the dead body and starts racing back home. When she reaches her home, she sees the cops knocking her door and she hides in the bushes. But with the sound grappling with her nerves, she gets up from her bed and opens her closed eyes and walks towards the closed door to open from inside.
